Jesus emphasized relationship
A relationship brings us closer to God—
A lot of jesus’teaching occurred in non-religious surroundings
e.g. sitting in a fishing boat (Mark 4:1)
Walking through a grain field (Mark 2:23-28)
Relaxing at a dinner table (Luke 7:36-50)
Resting on a mountainside (Matthew 5:1)
Waiting at a well (John 4) etc—
Jesus was always relationship orientated

Today many minister to people
However they have no relationship with them—
They do not really see how the person who is teaching really lives and
As a result the message that they are preaching does not
Really enter their hearts because their relationship is limited

A lot of jesus’teaching occurred in non-religious surroundings
This reveals a strange principle—
Today in a church building a lot of error is being taught
Many believe that inside the church building
You will find truth but in the church building
Many are fast asleep and are so conditioned to procedure
That they can’t even hear any more—
