An angel started to speak,
And woke me up from my sleep;
Giving me a sip of tea,
Then asked me what I could see.

I saw a lamp solid gold,
With seven candles to hold;
Such a beautiful sight,
With seven spouts for each light.

Sitting on shore by the seas,
Where I saw two olive trees;
On the left and on the right,
Next to the lamp stand so bright.

The angel asked what it meant,
Could it be for some event?
But it could not be ignored,
Knowing it came from the Lord.

Not by power nor by might,
Would I get the answer right;
But only by the Spirit,
That I could have good merit.

Seven eyes of God wander,
To see helping Him ponder;
The trees are anointed ones,
And standing as His two Sons.
