The child of Lee

The moon is shining in all it’s glory
Upon the dampened ground.
Where are you child I’ve been
Looking to see if you’ve been found.
The night is old and morn will be
Yet signs of despair are mine.
Oh how I must continue on looking
For the child of Lee.
Can you see afar the trees
The hills once marked with dew
Why won’t you answer my wavering
Call, my son the chosen few.
The sun has risen upon the earth
With the calling of the birds, I hear.
People traveling near and far not a
Care at all, I fear.
Tell me sir if you find him please the
Day is nearly spent. God where is he
Whom thou has gave, please find him
If thou will.
