Sunday 4/25/10 Pastor Alex’s sermon: Faith-Life Acts 3:1-10, Romans 12:3,Matt 17:20, James 2:20, James 2:26

Faith is trusting God to do what He says!

1) We All Have a Measure of Faith. : All of us have a little bit of faith. Romans 12:3 God will grow us thru a process to get rid of any of our unbelief.

2) Even Small Seeds of Faith are Powerful: Acts 3:1-10 The lame man had a bit of faith and his needs were eventually taken care of by God. We need to look to God with EXPECTATION to receive a blessing a “fix the problem thing” from God. Faith Can Move Mountains! Matt 17:20 Mustard seed size faith can move ANYTHING!

3) A Faith Life Always Bears Fruit: James 2:20 Faith without works is dead . James 2:26 We need to prepare our stuff to be ready to receive from God. We need to TRUST God to do what he promises. If we believe God then we act on his promises ahead of time. PREPARE in EXPECTATION for God to move in our circumstances.

When two farmers pray for rain, one prepares his field for the rain and the other does not.Who do you think got the rain? The farmer who prepared his fields. He pulled up the weeds, plowed the field to be ready to receive the prayed for/expected rain from God. We as Christians need to plow and pull up the weeds in our minds and in our lives.

We need to PULL UP the stinking-thinking, the doubts, the thoughts which are contrary to God’s way. We should prepare ourselves for the promises of God and stay in the POSTURE of EXPECTATION before God.!!!!
We SHALL NOT be moved but are waiting on God. !!!!

**Stand on the Promises of God----Have Faith in Action!
Matt 8:1-4, Matt 8:5-13, Matt 9:21-22, Matt 15:22-24

We are TRUSTING and have FAITH in GOD!!!!
