Oh! God when the path I tread is lone and dark…
And darkness overwhelms, and binds its evil spell…
May I ever behold thy throne and Ark
Even as I hear the howls of demons from the pits of hell
I am not alone!

When the road is steep
The bends sharp as each step I faint….
And my destination an endless deep
May thy Angels my part straight
I am not alone!

When the beams
Of thine salvation deems
And by the hour
My joy turns sour…
I am not alone!

Am thinking of my needs
And how to make up
You're telling me of my deeds
That it's time to wake up

I wait thy heavenly shower
May thy Angels endow me with power

Oh God! How often I strayed….
And every time you stayed…
Even when I sulked...
You stuck…
I am not alone!

Now I’ve lost the feel…
And my life but a reel
I waste in my prime…
Running out of time
Yet…I am not alone!
