The sky meets the horizon.
Blue and pink explode.
Like pastels on canvas.
Swirling, endlessly.

Wispy white clouds.
Drift peacefully by.
I sit lost on the ground.
Feeling tiny, very small.

The vastness above me
I feel consumed in the show above
The light filters through the clouds.
Leaving rays of beautiful illumination.

My senses begin to feel alive.
I can feel the gentle breeze.
The sounds of life I hear.
My soul begins to stir.

God's creations all around me.
I can feel a song in my heart.
I began to sing quietly.
The birds hush for my praise.

All the things I am thankful for.
Escape past my lips.
I feel as though finally I am healed.
All my sins, forgiven again.

God cradled me in his arms.
Soothing me when I cried.
Giving me the strength to love.
Showing me what life was about.

Here I am transformed.
A butterfly changed anew.
With a song in my heart.
Inspiration dancing in my mind.
