Could I be called a Christian?
Could I be called a Christian, if everybody knew--
My secret thoughts and feelings, and everything I do?
Or could they see the likeness of Christ in me each day?
And could they hear him speaking in everything I say?
Could I be called a Christian if everyone could know--
That I am found in places where Jesus would not go?
Or would they hear his echo in every song I sing?
In eating, drinking, dressing, could they see Christ in me?
Could I be called a Christian if judged by what I read?
Do I look the other way, when I see someone in need?
Could I be called a Christian, when trials come my way?
Am I kind, unselfish, forgiving to others everyday?
Could I be called a Christian, by what the bible says?
Would Jesus recognize me, by this title that I wear?

I just told my daughter tonight, we are always being transformed into His image, as the Holy Spirit convicts us of the things that are in our life’s that are not pleasing to God, it is up to us to allow Him to make the changes. But if we are not reading the Word, we are in the world and following our own lusts and greed.
