Love Has Lifted Me!

What awesome love caused a triune God to separate because you and I could not fulfill our part of His eternal covenant! Before the foundation of the world He knew that we would break every condition He had prepared to free us from the slavery of sin.

There was only One worthy to take our place. Jesus decided that He would become man in order to pay to price once and for all so you do not have to. He left the splendour of heaven and the bond of the Father and Holy Spirit, which had never been separated even though He knew that you would reject, hurt and kill Him!

He was God, but He came as the son of man. As man and endured all the trials and temptations known to mankind. Can you imagine what could have happened, had He succumbed to any temptation or changed His mind at the last minute on the cross?

Through Him all things were created, (John 1: 3) and if the creator part of God were no longer God… where would we be? Only His totally unconditional perfect Love for you kept Him from cancelling His assignment. He endured jeering, unbelief, hatred, excruciating pain and a shameful death. He did it all so that His blameless body would be a substitute for yours, and that He neither would nor could ever break that covenant.

All your sins, pains and sicknesses He bore, took them into hell, and even there also suffered the consequences for you. He loves you that much! Your name is carved in His hand by a spike.

The cost of bearing His Name and His anointing is priceless. You have been lifted up out of eternal damnation by the most selfless Love despite your sinful contribution to His suffering and death. While bearing your iniquities on the cross, He forgave you because you did not know what you were doing!

"Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the prince of this world be cast out, and I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."

In the King James Version the word "men" is italicized, which means it was not in the original but assumed by the translators to be the missing word. When He was lifted up on the cross, all people were not drawn to Him. Instead they mocked and despised Him.

As He was speaking about the judgment, and I believe that the verse could be read that He "will draw all judgment unto me." That is exactly what happened when all your sins, pain, sickness and all manner of evil was supernaturally drawn unto Him. (Isa. 53: 4 - 5)

Nevertheless, the Lord did draw to Himself the flesh of mankind and when He was lifted up into heaven as the firstborn of many brethren, His was the first human body to do so.

His Love has lifted me, and it will lift whosoever acknowledges His act of love. No one is left out, and no amount or degree of sin can keep you from that love. As Love has lifted me, so gladly lift my heart, hands and voice in praise and thanksgiving to Him!

He took your judgment on the cross, and further paid for its consequences once and for all in the depth of hell for you. Therefore, there is no more judgment on you. The debt has been paid.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Rom. 8: 1)
