The dust that lay on the window sill
Is the time I had been away
The abandoned sleeping pills
Are the only things I have to say

Flowers blossom and wither
Summer will give in to winter
Every beginning will have its end
It is nature's genetic trend

The days we had are now memories
The future holds what the present carries
Life comes in shades of grey
Every move made have a price to pay

Time waits for no man
Repent while you can
We stand between right and wrong
What don't kill the heart will only make it strong

The rain is my tears missing you
The sun is my smile illuminating on you
The wind is my blessing to you
The sky is my shadow with you
The stars are my written advice for you
The moon is I in you

Those were yesterdays
When you decided to stay
We went our separate ways

No more drowning in whiskey and beer
No more adrenaline rushing gears
No more cigarettes-smoking peers
No more running away from fears
No more sitting in the corner with tears

I moved on
Long gone
Before you know
I had already let it go
