PART: TWO
The person that had taken the place of hyper girl, lovestruck girl, had not been weirdly dancing and singing old mcdonald, but she instead was doing something wholly diffrent. She was instead, sitting indian style a few feet away from elmo. She was staring at elmo so intently...that if eyes could kill, elmo would have been killed no questions asked...and it would have been pretty gory...she was staring into elmo's soul, and it was freaking elmo out. Lovestruck girl said nothing for so long, that it felt to elmo that he had been in that position for his whole life.

Finaly, he couldn't take it anymore, and so he started to stand, and if by luck, or maybe desperation, lovestruck thought it was a good time to talk or something, for she said something, "wait...don't look away, i just wanna look at you for a little while longer", she said this with such a no none sense attitude, that elmo was freaked out...

If you have been reading this story up to this point, you will have seen that elmo is always getting freaked about the smallest things. And that is the truth, but if you were to label dumb, or retarded in anyway, for it's not that he hated people...it's just that he hated himself, and he was afraid of showing his true self to people, afraid that people would take advantage of him. And so, he had hidden his true self behind a wall built good enough, that nothing would be able to come in to his inner heart. And it worked...or...it worked untill ki'ki.

Ki'ki was his first real friend, accepting him for who he was, nothing more nothing less. She had gotten past his defences, the defence he thought was built up so perfectly. She had his heart, and he felt at times, that she would keep it forever...it's not like that would be bad, it's just that she hasn't taken there relationship further along...and elmo hated that. He loved ki'ki with all his heart, and he was starting to think that she didn't have the same feelings that he had. It wasn't a crush, it was something else...he didn't know what to call it, but he knew it was something...he just didn't know what...i got side tracked yet again. Back to the story line.

He was dumbfounded. no one had ever commented on his eyes...or anything. He was partly weirded out, and partly...honored..."no wait", he told himself, "you don't like people looking at you...", thats when a new voice popper up in his head. It was a voice he had heard before, it was just that it had been a long time...a really long time. It had been years since he had last listened to the part of him...that was open. Trusting. Lovable. "And," he thought, "do i detect a little bit of pridefulness." he almost didn't recognise his new attitude on life. It was such a drastic change in such a small ammount of time...actualy it had been seconds ago that he had been in his old ways. He had changed so fast, and for no appearent reason...but appearently something had just...snapped in his head...or heart, he didn't know which. But what he did know was that he had changed, and if he had more courage, then he would take it anyway he could get it. And thats when he felt himself being compelled to sit back down, by some unknown force. And before he knew it, he had brought the random girl...or better known as "lovestruck girl", to his side, and he know held her close to his side. But before too long, he for some reason, cupped her head in his hands, and brought around her head so he could look into her eyes. And what he saw was something that he was not expecting...elmo now saw that the eyes he was staring into, belonged to...ki'ki. Elmo almost fainted, not from fear, and certainly not from the weirdness of her dancing, which ki'ki was not doing. But, the reason he almost fainted was because of joy. looking, he would say "best point in my life...turning point for sure...a momment suspended in time."

For the longest of times, all elmo did was just sit there, dumbfounded, trying to determine if he had died and gone to heaven. And thats when he knew he had to say something. "i am SO sor-" elmo's words were cut short, for ki'ki had put her hand on his mouth, in silence gesture. When she knew that he wouldn't say anything more, she took her hand off his mouth, and drew close into his arms...

expecting something from him, that elmo didn't quite know. It took him a few awkward seconds, ki'ki expecting...a hug. That was it, she was expecting a hug, and elmo was just rejecting her, without meaning too. Because of his delay, he knew he would have to make up for it, and so he decided to do something crazy, something he had seen others do, but had never tried himself. First he picked ki'ki up with both hands, and swung her around a few times, and then put ki'ki back down, and immedietely planted a..."what did they call it" he asked himself. "oh yeah", he planted a big huge, sloppy, wet kiss on ki'ki's lips. Ki'ki was not expecting anything of the sort, but she warmed up to it, and kissed right back. It didn't last long, but it was heaven none the less. After, with both taking in deep breath's, elmo said something, that lasted in ki'ki's mind for the rest of her life..."I LOVE YOU."
