BE THE BRIDGE OF HOPE
To the weary, faint and dying brother,
Giving up the faith once held dear,
Finding no will nor strenght to carry on,
Be the bridge of hope.
To the strayed and disillusioned brother,
Crashing under the weight of sin,
Drowning in the oceans of illusions,
Be the bridge of hope.
You are the only christ he knows,
That heathen in the valley of decision,
Angels in heaven will sure rejoice,
If you be the bridge of hope.
If you see the sacred cross today,
Bearing glorious shame in broken flesh,
Hide not the message of life you are,
Be the bridge of hope.
In our world hope is dear but precious,
The peace we know resides in guns,
In Christ alone man's future secured,
Be the bridge of hope.

Amen...good piece of writing...
This was a wonderfull piece. It reminds me again of how important is the assignment given to us to bring hope and help to a world in crisis. Did you know that was the final straw for Sodom and Gomorrah? They made a law in their land that outlawed helping the poor and stranger and enforced it. One of God's names is "God to the poor and stranger." Congrats on the Jewel Award. It truly is a jewel.
Congratulations on being in the jewel chest. We should be the Bridge of Hope both to our christian brothers and sisters and to the lost. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
