In the beginning He programmed everything.
God wrote the code establishing the universe.
He ensured that all things were included
In this most glorious of computer programs.
He allowed for a multitude of upgrades to the system.
Then He hovered over the empty void
And began the process of programming those things
Necessary to fill this darkness with the Light of life.
Our DNA is encoded within the Book of Life.
He then recognized that Adam was lonely
So He programmed a companion from one
Rib of the chromosomes of Adam.
Thus, woman was created.
Every call to a function was planned accordingly.
Every subroutine is necessary
Yet we do not know when each will start.
The clock cycles continue until He decrees otherwise.
Perhaps, He will utilize randomized algorithms?
It is not for us to know at this time if ever.
The machine language is incomprehensible,
But we receive glimpses or shadows of this Truth.
We were programmed to accept parallel processing
And as such, our brains are indeed computers.
And what of programming glitches brought on by sin?
Beloved are we that the Master Programmer
Continues to work in our lives to perfect us!
