When I look upon Your creation,
I see the beauty that lies behind it all.
I see the perfection of the design.
I am saddened by what I and others have done to it.
Oh, I have played my part and for that I can repent and atone.
Perhaps, I can make it up to You in some small way before I return home?
I feel as if I am far lower on bell curve than most, but hopefully?
Well, hopefully I have enough time left to do some more positive,
Constructive and productive things on Your behalf.

I see wonderful works wrought by Your hand.
The eagle as it soars majestically through the air.
The aloof feline who goes about her business.
Sometimes, I just enjoy looking at flowering plants
Or contemplating the intricacies of a single blade of grass.

I wish to once again body surf on some incoming waves.
I dream of going on a real vacation and being able to enjoy
All that life has to offer to me, but oh,
Not the bad stuff any longer.
I pray to be able to get away from all that.
I can do it with Your grace and mercy.
I can do it with additional training and assistance.
All my life I have been told things that I believed was the truth.
Beaten down to create bitterness, hatred, resentment.
Beaten down to be made to feel unappreciated, unloved, unworthy.

There is no way that You created me to be or feel this way.
Certainly, You have larger things in store for me.
I feel this urgency and it frightens me somewhat for I know
In my heart, that I have been trapped in Babylon for years.
I am trying to leave, but I am frightened.
Not of the unknown, but of that which I thought that I knew.
I know that You are with me.
