The battle between good and evil is as old as man himself. These two forces have been at it forever and were caught in the middle, or are we?

Body and Spirit

It's really pretty simple in theory. Your body (flesh) is influenced by sin and your spirit is looking to God. Knowing this doesn't change the fact that were all tempted and sinners.

So what is the key to winning this battle? It comes down to confessing, but sometimes pride gets in the way. Were just to proud to admit were wrong, this is one of the 7 Deadly Sins that sin exploits, this keeps us from building our spirits.

All God wants us to say is were human, we made a mistake and repent, that's it. But we are so full of vanity that we can't even do that. So, on we go repeating the same mistakes and yielding to the flesh.

Building Your Spirit

You will have to make a choice, which part of you is going to take over. Think about this, if you spend all this time giving your body all it desires and then when you die you have to leave it here, what does this tell you?

God's telling you your body is not the priority, your spirit is what moves on, it needs to be nourished.

The worlds ways is not designed to give you a break. One day it's a economic crises, the next there's a disaster, then tax increases, your constantly occupied with these things that weaken your spirit.
