Will I ever know if You are working through me?
Have I ever done anything for the benefit of others?
I would like to think that I have.
I would like to be able to tell You that I brought somebody to meet You.
Sure, I argue and debate and get angry and sad.
Sure, I try to put on a face of strength even when facing fear itself.
I do recognize that You have protected me.
I feel Your Presence, but know that I don’t always acknowledge this.
I thank You, but would like to meet You one day.
I abide in the hope of better things to come--better days ahead.
You have a Son that has paid the price for me.
Therefore, I know that You will do this for us.
You are the Father and I am a son,
A brother, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew, a friend.
You provide for me.
You teach me.
You guide me.
You discipline me.
If that be not love for me, then what is?
I already know that You are working through me.
