What does spiritual growth really mean? It means your trying to get to the point where your spirit becomes stronger than your flesh.

Oh, we talk a good game after going to church and being inspired, but how long does it last? What things do we routinely do to feed our spirit compared to the time we cater to the flesh. This is the question you have to honestly answer.

Gods Plan

I have to chuckle when I hear people say "I need to do this for God" or "God needs me to....." Do you really think God, the God who created things we can't even comprehend, really needs us? Were so wishy washy he'd go crazy depending on us. The tests that we go through are for the purpose of eventually taking command over the flesh (body).

Sin has a lot of influence over our flesh, it wants to destroy you and if your spirit grows, then sin knows you can overcome fleshy desires.

Some people don't believe this, some don't want to face this and some people don't care. Does that mean that it doesn't happen?

Your the only one that can answer this for yourself. How strong can your spirit become if you only spend a few hours here and there compared to feeding your flesh routinely?

For more insight into this question, go to Strengthening Your Spirit. Find out what sin doesn't want you to know.

Your spot on with the concept of us thinking God need us to do anything. Excellent point well made. God bless...
