It was a day set apart
The difference could be felt all around,
Not just in the touch of the breeze
But in the very gladness of the morn.

The distance kept on growing less
From far to near as the destined time approached.
It was a day when two hearts met
When the years just melted away.

No words were needed
The silence said it all.
The whole world just faded in the distance
Nothing mattered, except this joyful hour and moment.
To be with each other; Imprinted gazes
Silently wishing that time would stand still and never end.

This was their own very special day
To cherish and possess for a long time to come.
The passing years were not enough
To quench the feelings within.

Though the joys of the yesteryears would be treasured
The pain of the past was over.
It was a bright renewed start
To the path of happiness, hope and love.
