3/14/10 Pastor Alex’s Sunday sermon: Power of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:4-5, 8, I Cor 2:4-5, Rom 8:26, II Cor 12:9-10, Rom 15:13,Eph 3:16-10

The Holy Spirit gives us the power to live life! This power is a force, a miraculous power, explosive power of God we receive from the Holy Spirit. Don’t put any limitations on God. Don’t put any limitations on our walk with Christ. Give God our very best and he will take our very best and do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.

Why Do I Need the Holy Spirit?

1) To Share Christ Boldly: We need power from God in our life so we can share Christ. Sometimes church is like a show but we need to be real about Christ with people.

2) When We Are Weak: The Holy Spirit helps us when we can’t pray, when we are unsure, scared, weak and confused. Holy Spirit comes in with peace and strength.

3) To Have Hope in a Hopeless World: The Holy Spirit gives us hope. By faith we have hope that all things will work out together for our good. Our love for God shall stand up and keep up cause Holy Spirit gives us Hope.

The fullness of God will come upon us when we are willing to give God our best. We need to commit to Christ and give Him our best so He can pour out His power thru the Holy Spirit onto us.
We need to NOT be too busy for God. Instead we need to give Him all of us so God can pour out on us His blessings according to the plan He has for our life.
