The Great Exchange.

The Great Exchange had taken place
And so began what we’ll call the Race
Ashes for beauty, from dust to dust
So began the cry: “In Him I will trust!”
You’ve taken what little I have to give
And now, In Your Freedom I declare I shall live.
Your Word: like water to my thirsty soul
I can only Rejoice that I’ve heard the Great Call
I’ll rise above and walk with You-
You are the GOD who will make all things new
I’ll receive and release and redemption from all the Old Sin
Glory to God for I’ve seen the king!

Jesus, Saviour, I love you so!
And to any place outside your presence-I will not go!

You’ve taken my weakness and made me strong
Flying high on the wings of your Spirit, I’ll sing a Holy Song
Your spirit is filling me like anointed Fire
You are always even More than what I desire
You’ve cherished and carried me all of my days
So I will lay my life at your feet-with no further delay!
I may stumble through the valley of the shadow of death
But even as I gasp my final breath
My soul will never know the entry of death

For I am a recipient of a Great Exchange
I am simply a spirit man whose soul once craved
In eternity I will abide with the jewels of my exchange
For I am only a woman who seemingly yesterday was Saved!
