Some branches weep
Some we can climb
Some last through
Many splendid
Seasons
Of time.
Different colors,
Different shapes
Found among
Earth’s blessed
Landscapes.
A place for a nest
And an afternoon rest
For a sparrow, chickadee
Or a robin red-breast.
Branches …budding in Spring
Fragile flowers they bring…
Pink and white blossoms -
Perfect offering.
Branches …Bend in the breeze
Weather the storms
Welcome the sun
Quietly,
Deliberately...
Thankfully.

With your flare for wonderful imagery at its best, after reading your post I immediately dwelt upon the most important branch of all - the Branch of David that yielded for us our Savior and King at the most perfect season of our history. I quietly, deliberately and thankfully welcome the Son, our Father's most perfect offering. Thank you, Julie, for using your gift to lead me into praise and worship of our Lord.
