“How priceless is your unfailing love” Psalms 36:7

Love tags are the names of the people whom we carry close to our heart. Love is an emotion which can only be felt deeply in our hearts and souls, the most silent emotion and yet the strongest. We have these great escapades of the mind and heart where love is best analyzed, defined and visualized. We make it a strong anchor in our life which keeps us firmly rooted. We hold on to our favorite day of the week and month of the year just because it has a special remembrance linked to love.

Sometimes it amazes me what time can do to love, how it cultivates love, makes it grow in maturity and ripens it into a resilient force.
Love is not all about winning or losing; sometimes, we should strive to find our win even amidst the loss. This is the crowning glory of love.

Just as we need to communicate with those who are far away which in a way makes our presence felt and provides a sense of comfort; similarly, Jesus after having ascended into Heaven makes his presence felt among us in the Eucharist where we feel the strong force of his love.

As Mother Teresa once remarked ”When you look at the Cross, you see how much Jesus loved us then. When you look at the Most Blessed Sacrament, you can see how much Jesus loves us now.”
It reminded me of a quote I came across - “Loved you yesterday, love you still, always have and always will."

God loves us passionately and intensely. His never ending love is a rare love. The Blessed Sacrament is a living fountain of grace. From it springs the waters of eternal life.

King Solomon eloquently expresses love in some of his phrases :
“Your love is more delightful than wine.”- Song of Solomon 1:2
“Place me like a seal over your heart; for love burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame.
”Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away” - Song of Solomon 8:6-7

It is in the wilderness of our hearts that we find ourselves and can hear God speak to us. Jesus himself said “ Remain in me as I remain in you.”
Our response to him should be equally charged with love, spirit and fire as in Psalms 63:1-8
“O God, You are my God and I long for You. My whole being desires you; my soul is thirsty for you. Your constant love is better than life itself; my lips offer you worship! I will lift up my hands, calling on Your name. My soul will feast and be satisfied, with joyous lips my mouth shall honor You! I remember you; all night long I think of you, In the shadow of your wings, I sing for joy.”

We should love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. After all, we are the Heart tags that Jesus has imprinted on His Heart, each tag with a special name and purpose as designed by the Master Designer.
