Absolute Breakthrough

Recently I got spiral notebook so I could write down the things that God has shown me. One thing that I wanted to share was that on a Sunday recently I felt impressed to read this book of letters from a ministry, that I have, in two different letters that I read, this verse kept coming up and it is Phillippians 1:19-20 " For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and my hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death." As I write this another verse comes to mind, in Genesis 41:32" And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing was established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass." This is interesting because I wasn't planning on writing this, and lately I have been feeling so strongly that something is about to radically change in my life. In Job 33:14-16 it says "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction." A long time ago the Lord spoke to me and said "The comfort of the Holy Spirit is a strengthening presence." I happened to look up the definition of the word "comfort" in my Spirit Filled Life Bible, it is in Acts 9:31. There it says that comfort is a calling alongside to help, to comfort, to give consolation or encouragement, a strengthening presence. I thought this was interesting, I don't remember ever reading this before, the Holy Spirit strengthens, encourages, and comforts us in any thing in our lives. I was watching a show where they were talking about the steps to a breakthrough. They are ...... 1. Don't believe the lies of the devil. 2. Watch your words. 3. Stay consistent. They read the verse I Cor 15:58 " Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." I was looking up other similar verses to this one and came across II Thess. 2:16-17 "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work." There is that word "comfort" again. A note in the margin of my Bible says "establish" means strengthened. If the word "comfort" speaks of a strengthening presence, and the word "establish" means strengthen, then we are strengthened by the power, or anointing of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. We are strengthened to create change in our lives. I think sometimes or most of the time we don't make use of the things that God has made available to us. I know these are good things to remember when something bad happens in our lives, but what about in our every day lives? Also when I am believing God for change in my life, or in myself, I need to realize that I can be, and by faith I am strengthened and established unto every good work. My heartfelt desire is to not just change some outward things in my life, but to absolutely live and breathe and exist as the new creation in Christ -- the anointed one and His anointing-- that I am. Like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, he goes from one state of existence to another, that is what the Word says is available to us. And once the caterpillar becomes a butterfly, he can never go back to being a caterpillar, it is not possible. If we truly had a revelation of these things we wouldn't put up with the things in our lives that are destroying us. It is so easy to become complacent and apathetic, and just exist from day to day.
We should always be open to the new ways of thinking and being that God has for us. It is so exciting to me to know that everything is subject to change at any time. On that same show they were saying the fourth step to a breakthrough is to sow a significant seed. Expect ! Expect ! Expect ! Psalm 71:21 " You shall increase my greatness and comfort me on every side" There's that word "comfort" again, associated with increase, which is breakthrough.
Nothing is too big, or too little to believe God for a breakthrough in. We should always be open to the new ways of thinking and being that God has for us. It is so exciting to me to know that everything is subject to change at any time. Job 11:15-16 says "Then surely you could lift up your face without spot; Yes, you could be steadfast, and not fear; Because you would forget your misery, and remember it as waters that have passed away." To me these verses describe breakthrough, or the result of breakthrough. Like the Apostle Paul and the dreams given to Pharaoh, the confident expectation or hope we have in the covenant of God, and the comfort and strength of the anointing within each of us, assures us that we can walk in totally transformed lives and the things we long for will be given to us, as it is God who implanted those dreams and desires in us to begin with. If we truly are the righteousness of God in Christ, and we are, then this is available as a reality in our lives.
