A few days ago, my boss sent me to a patient room to clean. While I was there I engaged a lady in conversation who had cancer. In spite of her condition she was refreshing to talk to I stayed a while, got her name and told her that I would pray for her The next day I was impressed to offer her a couple of my bookets on eternal life. She gladly accepted them and I once again told her I was praying for her (I really was.) Yesterday I visited her once again and will do so today as God permits. She talked to me at length about her illnes and I agonized within that God would do something special for her.I asked if I could pray for her before I left. And she invited me to. Was she a Christian? I don't know but this week she became a friend. Later that night as I was doing my work the thought came to me: "would'nt it be wonderful if the people God allows me contact with could say"I think I saw Jesus today?" What a goal for us to strive for. I wish like Elijah I could call to heaven and have God answer according to my word. I know He doesn't always do that but maybe this time He will. I am reminded often from that verse'The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availth much" Help me be that righteous man. Henry
