You give with such simplicity
   it could break the proudest heart.
A finite life marked by Infinity
   grace had come that it may impart.
Quick you are, just to listen;
   so slow to let any rage fly.
Quietly, your acts so glisten
   marked by a glow on high.
 
The laugh I hear coming from you
   reveals you love life.
I am sure it bears out true
   even in its strife.
Your humor shows you're intelligent,
   the way you see all things.
I can laugh at the way you're bent, 
   as a melody bends to sing.
 
You're a friend to all you meet
   finding adventure in who they are. 
You find in each their good merit
   as if you found a new-born star.
You treat your words like silver and gold,
   setting some inside of others. 
It's a work to behold, 
   benefitting your sisters and brothers.   
 
Who you are, quiet I see,
   within and without,
      comes from the God of all mercy.
   His glory in you shouts. 
The beauty in you, that I see,
   teaches me a lesson.
What I see tells something of me,
   through whom I consider a blessing.

Strike the coldest chords of my heart,
   I'm a little better for it.
A little warm light for this dark,
   seasoned by the Spirit.
Things you do tell me clear
   how you love His Letter.
Getting to know you, drawing near,
   I'm a little better.

You're not so quick to give your views.
You don't feel we need them.  
If we sought from you, for us to muse. 
Our gain would be our win.
If we were wise we would seek,
   from you what we should ask. 
Gaining wisdom of the meek 
   the fruit of that task.    

I saw some fruit borne of His breath,
   from fires of heaven's forges. 
All of us, we, are very blessed
   to witness what I call gorgeous.
