I wanted to prolong yesterday
Revel in today and delay tomorrow.
But somehow, yesterday ended soon,
I could not hold today forever
And tomorrow came sooner than expected.

O time! If you only knew how much you meant to me
Right from my childhood,
Through my youth,
And now in my prime
You have been my constant companion.

O time! You have known my feelings at every stage in life.
You have seen me go through joy and pain,
Through doubts and uncertainties,
Through success and shattered dreams.

O time! You have been my friend and advisor
My best critic and inspiration.
You taught me to accept life the way it is
Even if it meant keeping my dreams on hold.

O time! You have held my hand and comforted me in times of loss;
You soothed my brow when I felt ill and weary.
You have prayed together with me; You gave me hope and faith.
You taught me to cherish love and value my memories;
Precious time spent with priceless people.

O time! You showed me how to live my part
Through the various seasons of life.
To always express my joy and hide my tears and pain.
Though, you never let the girl within me ever go.

O time! You helped me to face the challenges in life
Even though, I sometimes complained about the unfairness of it all.
You made me live life in a symphony with your tunes.

Above all, you made me understand
That I could not change, only cherish yesterday.
Live for today and look forward to tomorrow.
O time! Thanks for being my guide for life!
