Are you young for your age? We are told that age is only a frame of mind. There are days that mine must be framed with tarnished gold. At other times I feel like a teenager trapped in a sixty year old body. I am not ashamed of my age. If I were not in the senior moments grouping I would not have the blessings of grandchildren.


It is very common to now live past the century mark. Those included have seen history unfold before their eyes, and are eager to share their stories and wisdom. Their memories are priceless, and can light the way to new personal development for listeners.


Our bodies may be aging and slowing down. Hearts can remain young, and give us hope and inspiration for a bright future. It would be very interesting to learn details about the life of Methuselah. We do know his family tree: Father- Enoch. He fathered Lamech and several other children. His notoriety is a lengthy life. “So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years. Then he died (Genesis 5:27 NCV).” What changes did he see in close to 1,000 years? Were his conversations filled with stories of the good old days? Did his heart finally catch up with his weary body? Many people credit their youthful attitudes to being around children and teens. It might be a good idea. A generation gap can be bridged.
