Our Savior is beautiful and glorious. His work is rather growing in popularity, in contrast to most mere human achievements, as men begin to discover what has always been theirs for more than 2000 years now. While many are still getting into the wonderment of His work beyond religious appraisal, only few are yet fully appreciating the beauty of these two words often attached to His work; He did not only work a work, He worked it FOR US. These words 'for us' are men's ushers to the great work done by Christ. From the standpoint of men, the death, burial and resurrection of Christ are all vain without these two words 'for us'. It is truth that Christ died but appreciating that He died for us will make all the difference. Filling the mind with all the theological complexities or religious doctrines about the death of Christ without the hearty appropriation through the words 'for us' will be a barren endeavor.

Many brethren have not yet grasped the importance of these two words. It might even be neglected at times. Bite, chew and swallow this and repeat this as many times as possible, that all that Christ did was for us, that the Father may be glorified through the Son. I would encourage you to take some time after reading this article to ponder on these words and the scripture references.

When Christ was crucified, it was not for the sins He had committed. It was for the punishment of the sins of the world. It was for our sins so that we will be sin free as well
as free from the condemnation and guilt. It was for us. The benefits of His death are not for Him but for us. Why then should we be apologetic in reaping these benefits? It was for us through a painful and shameful death. Look at the verses below and take not of these two words 'for us' or similar words like 'for our'.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed(Isa 53:5,KJV).

Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification(Ro
4:25,KJV).

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures(1C 15:3,KJV).

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father(Ga 1:4, KJV).

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1Jn 2:2 KJV).

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins(1Jn 4:10,KJV).

Did you notice in Ro 4:25 above how that He was 'raised again for our justification'? It means He was raised up not for His benefit but for our benefit.He was raised so that we could be justified. It was all for us that God may be glorified.

Jesus has been seated at the right hand of the Father. When Christ is said to be seated at the right hand of the Father, it is not a position of rest but one of assumption of
authority.


Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the
church.( Eph1:20-22,KJV).


Christ has been seated at the right hand of power. He rules over all. Think about this. Such dominion over everything that is named, including all the names of diseases. Christ is God, Possessor of all the power known in the realm of power. Also remember that the seated Christ is also the man Christ Jesus at the right hand of the Majesty on high. The excellency and glory of the seated Christ as concerns men are not just that He has been raised to such position of authority. See it in the 22nd verse of Ephesians 2 as seen again below.


And hath put all thing under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the
church(Eph 2:22, KJV).

And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for
the benefit of the church (NLT).

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for
the church( NIV).


Did you get it? He was put there FOR US. He is there so that the church would enjoy the privilege of such power and dominion. He was not in need of power or dominion. We need it.
He is there now FOR US to enjoy them. It is as though you are told that your father has decided to get into a high business endeavor which turns out to be successful and that he did this not for his fame but that his children may have financial freedom! Christ died, resurrected and is now seated in the heavens FOR US! This is our Savior. That is why we can never stop admiring Him. He did not seek His own but as Solomon received from the LORD what he did not ask for(wealth besides wisdom he asked), so has the Father crown Jesus Him with abundance of glory. He never sought for popularity amongst men but now we cannot help it but make Him popular. He deserves it.

Praise the Lord in that He is not just called Savior. He is OUR Savior. Take these words
deep into your heart as you make time to ponder upon them.


Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (1Ti 4:15,KJV).

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success(Jsh 1:8,KJV).
