THE SECRET PLACE
Here, Heaven’s new born baby is wholly fed,
With the sumptuous milk of God’s Presence.
The aged believer grows in the nature of his Heavenly Father,
As he voraciously feasts on the Meat of the Word.

As he tarries with relentless hunger,
He is shaped by the patient Hands of the Potter,
Until he is a mirror of the flawless will of God,
And his heart beat resonates Heaven’s Counsel.

Here he is empowered with uncommon revelation,
To dominate, influence and reign on the earth,
To establish the truth of the living word on a dying world,
To spread the frontiers of God’s Kingdom on the earth.

This is where the lost come to find light,
Where the weak retreat to find strength,
Where the poor resort to find wealth,
Where every need is provided by the liberal Hands of El-shaddai.

When we are thirsty for clarity in the desert of life’s choices,
Prayer leads us to the river of sound judgment,
Enriching us with the priceless blessing,
Of doing the right thing at the right time.

The broken heart is mended with the needle and thread of Love,
The selfish soul is broken with the hammer of selfishness,
To serve God and man with reckless abandon,
To leave the footprints of a selfless life on the sands of time.

A million miles away can never compare,
To a moment in the Secret Place.
The treasures that lurk in the chest of God’s Presence,
Are better than life to those who find them.
