.........................The Spirit of our Lord

...............There is a rod from the root of Jesse
................A Branch with the Spirit of our Lord
..................The Spirit of knowledge, wisdom
...........................strength and counsel
................He projects the Lords understanding
....................While filled with reverence for

...................He will not arbitrate or admonish
.....................Respectively by sight or sound
.........No, with righteousness does He judge the poor
.................While of the meek He'll censor fairly
....................Yes His gentleness does abound

........He has righteousness as the root of His strength
.........With faithfulness the fortification that guides Him
.......He smites the earth with the authority of His words
....And slays the wicked with the breath that carries them

........................Soon there will come a day
.....................That of the lamb and the wolf -
..........................Together, they'll stay
...............The same as the lions, calfs, and sheep
.........................They too, will be together
.....................as the goats and leppards will lay

...............And of all of these, a small child will lead
.................While of the cows, bears, lions and ox
.......................Together will their families feed

................Plus without worry, do the children play
......................Near any venomous vipers nest
...........For the latter, can neither damage nor decimate
....................In the Holy mountain of His Holiness

.........For the earth will be filled with the Lords knowledge
......................Like the oceans cover the globe
...........And on that day this Rod from the root of Jesse
..........................Stands as insignia over all
..............................Memorialized in glory
...................................as in this ode
