Author’s note: I have found if I am DEAD – that means I don’t scream, holler and kick my feet. NO tantrums, no squawking, no murmuring or complaining = FREEDOM! Oh, my….

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (NKJV)

Romans 12:9 (Behave like a Christian – the online Bible I am using has this for a subtitle for the passage) Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. (NKJV)

God’s love is a walk:

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. (NKJV)

John 15:12-15 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. (NKJV)

Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.(NKJV)

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (NKJV)

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” (NKJV)

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins. (NKJV)

Proverbs 17:9 He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. (NKJV)

OK are you getting into the rhythm of this walk? And is it making more sense why we have to WALK this love idea out every minute of the day. Perhaps if we tried to RUN we’d be missing out. That has definitely been my experience. Go too fast and miss smelling the iris and learning many of the Lord’s most valuable lessons, voice of experience here.

2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.(NKJV)

Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”(NKJV)

Psalm 91:14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;I will set him on high, because he has known My name.(NKJV)

Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” (NKJV)

6 Doesn’t notice
7 Forgives/forgets

9 Peaceful/proper timing

Our Love:
1 Pessimistic
2 Negative
3 Death
4 Binding
5 Conditional
6 Takes offence
7 Holds grudges
8 Exclusive
9 Anxious


What incredible reasons to yield to His love and to ask Him to do His most perfect work within us - so we can become more like Him in all areas. Especially more like Him in the area of love.

Luke 10:27
So he answered and said, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself. (NKJV)
