Jesus died the way criminals died in Rome
It was just one of many deaths but by
This ordinary death God atoned for our sins

Under the ordinary lies the extraordinary
Here lies a simple principle—
God will use simple things (ordinary things) to do great things
He has done this throughout history and
He is also doing this in the 21st century
Therefore let us not complain if
We feel that our lives are too simple or too boring—
God will take the ordinary and make it extraordinary

Jesus was an ordinary (common) name
Yet this Name today is the Name of the Hour
This ordinary Name cannot be destroyed
This Name is the Name by which man is Saved

Under the ordinary lies the extraordinary
