Even when beaten black and blue
…Even when they remove my teeth
Even when they blackmail me
Even when they knock me down
…Even when they send some snakes
Even when they break my back
Even when they vilify me
Still standing
even when they cut my supplies
even when they think it’s all over
…even when they bury me
even when I am stoned
even when they berate me
…even when they abuse and use me
even when they try to frighten me
even when they send Goliath of Gath

Why?
because the Greater One indwells me
the blood speaks for me
Jesus is Lord over principalities and powers
Jesus is Lord, Captain of my salvation
He disarmed principalities and powers
He fights for me,
He is for me ,
He is with me,
He is in me
He did not call me to quit
He called me to stick to it
Why?
My life is hidden in Christ in God
No weapon fashioned against me prospers
When the enemy comes like a flood
the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against him

Why?
I am more than a conqueror
Whoever is born of God overcomes this world.
Tribulation or distress, nakedness,
peril or sword shall not separate me
from the Love of God in Christ Jesus
Hard-pressed on every side, I will not be crushed
When perplexed, I will not be in despair
Persecuted but not abandoned
Knocked down but not knocked out

Still standing
Because He said,
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord
Be still and know that I am God
Fear not, I will help you
I will uphold you and retain you
with my victorious right hand
of rightness and justice
I am with you and will be with you until the end of the age
I am the Friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I am praying for you, interceding for you,
pleading your case before My Father
I have engraved you on the palm of My Hands.
I am your shield and your abundant compensation
The battle is not yours but Mine
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will abide under the shadow of the Almighty
I am your light and your salvation
I have gone ahead of you
to make very crooked path straight
I will keep in perfect peace
whose mind is anchored on Me
because he trusts in Me.
