Proof Of Second Birth

When death is swallowed up in victory
In a twinkling of an eye
And the last trump is sounded
As we ascend to our home on high
Mortals put on immortality
The corruptible become incorrupt
At the sounding of the Master's voice
As He shouts "Saints! Come Up."

O the glory and the honour
That are due to Jesus's name
Will be sanctioned by the Father
As we gaze upon His frame
Those nailprints in His hands and feet
The wound there in His side
Will bring to us remembrance of
His body crucified

That blood atoning sacrifice
That takes away all sin
Praises shall break forth from the mouths
Of all who've entered in
And in our kneeling at the Throne
With every tongue confessing
Jesus Christ is surely Lord
No need for second guessing

There the mystery revealed
O worthy is the Lamb
Saved to serve forevermore
He the great I Am
Believers from every tongue
And nation on this earth
