o beautiful light of the cool, clear morn
Blessed by the sun's bright ray;
See how the rain has cleansed and borne
The sweet, refreshing day.

Just as the morning springs to life
After a night of showers;
Hope in my heart, after the night
Of tears, comes forth and flowers.

For I have been touched with the Light of Life;
From me He'll never part.
No matter the rains of the darkest night,
He's the Sunshine of my heart.
