........................................The Lord
.......................... He longs to be gracious to us
....................................His compassion
..............................For us waits, to 'wait on'
......................................His Blessings
......................Lengthen for those that long for Him
...................................With His justice
...............Answering our cries and turning them to song
..............................And now of our hunger
....................He'll serve no more bread of privation
...............................And now of our thirst
..............He'll draw no more water as sipped at Calvary
...............................And now of our belief
.............Thrown away are those molten images of gold
...............................And now of our sight
...........................Our Teacher will it behold
.............................And now of our hearing
.......................The Way will be left undoubted
...............................For now of His grace
