I heard you in the gentle breezes and the songs of the birds
I heard you in the fountain offering comforting words
I saw you in the morning sun and the rising of the moon
I saw you in a falling star leaving the sky too soon

I smelled you in the garage with the tools and sawdust
I smelled you in the car where we talked of love and trust
I felt you hold me close, drying away my tears
I felt your love surrounding me throughout all our years

I hear you whispering to me “Be strong, it will be all right”
I see you in my dreams when I close my eyes each night
I smell you on the pillow where you laid your head
I feel you in my heart pushing out the fear and dread

Filling me with dreams only you could make come true
From my heart to yours my darling, I will always love you.
