As I wipe my tears
And embrace my fears
I long for some peace
And to be seated at the feast

It’s getting hard to see
And I question who I be
Not convinced of my purpose
Or the cleanliness of the surface

Well I finally broke down
And then purchased a frown
I’m at the point of too much
And my life knows of such

So when I got home
I was completely alone
To battle with my emotions
Hoping they will smooth out like lotion

Giving up is not for me
Being victorious is what I see
Overcoming these trials at hand
And with God I will stand

So guess what I’m free
Proposed to life on one knee
Engaged to what God has for me
Nailed my problems to that rugged tree

I fly above it all
Chest out standing tall
Troubles are actually small
Changed like the Apostle Paul

Gave it to God so I can smile again
My ordained life is about to begin
Those tears aided this rhyme
But Last Night was my Last Time.
