The "twilight" years usually imply a life is about over, the end is in sight. I prefer to reflect on them as the dawn of a life freed from earth’s hostile grip, the setting down of the physical and the taking up of the spiritual. Earth’s Standard Time, E.S.T., will be no more. It's time to look up, for God’s Heavenly Dimension G.H.D., is nigh at the door. Our redemption draws near. The finish line is just ahead! Can't you see the ribbon stretched across the track?
As you draw closer and closer, read the banners posted along the way:
“HOPE to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ!” (1 Pet. 1:13)
“I have finished my course, I have kept the FAITH.” (2 Tim. 4:7)
“And this is LOVE, that we walk after His commandments.” (2 John 6)
“Putting on the breastplate of FAITH and LOVE, and for a helmet, the HOPE of salvation.” (1 Thess. 5:8)
“Rejoice evermore!” (1 Thess. 5:16)
“Faithful is He that calleth you!” (1 Thess. 5:24)
“…Let us run with patience the race that is set before us!” (Heb. 12:1b)
“Look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith!” (Heb. 12:2a)
The cloud of witnesses awaits you!
“By faith: Abraham… Isaac… Jacob… Joseph… Moses… Rahab… Gideon… Barak… Samson… Jephthah… David… Samuel, these all, and millions more, having obtained a good report through faith, received the promise!"
Do you hear their cheers?! Run! Run!
You have reached the finish line; the ribbon is torn. He knows who you are! Look up, weary one, you are Home! Fall into His arms and rejoice!

Revelation 21:1-7
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
