A CHILD’S JOURNEY TO FAITH could be called a PARENT’S JOURNEY TO FAITH. The purpose is to have child and parent interacting together in the study of important life principles. Although this book was originally written for 8- 12 year olds, adults can benefit as well from these lessons. That is the ultimate goal.

Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Over the years parents who trusted the church to do this have discovered, too late, that there is no substitute for the teaching and example of the parents. Later, the children without proper parental mentoring, not only leave the church, but also forget about God.

By teaching children on a family level, it is more personal for the child and most challenging to the parent. This is true when the children begin to ask difficult questions. This results in spiritual growth for the whole family as they become involved in the teaching process.

This book is based solely on the teaching of scripture and is non-sectarian in its approach. May God use these messages for His Glory and may this blessing flow to others. Henry Jaegers
