I have with me a too-large task.
I need some help from the mass.
I can’t get help from any other,
  so I’m calling sisters and brothers.
 
Only the proud think something so big
  a thought too big for their wig.
I’m too small to be so right.
By myself I can’t unite.
 
Help me, please, to glorify
  the Son that’s sent from on high.
I can’t do it with simple words.
By myself I’m just not heard.
 
It is then we glorify Him,
  loving each other in spite of sin.
He is known through the “us”,
  being followers of this Jesus.
 
It’s so much easier with you and me.
Who wants to be alone when they’re free?
It’s kind of silly to love a wall.
I don’t think that’s why we’re called.
 
It’s by this love that we’re known.
With our hearts our cover is blown.
Imagine a love that causes trouble,
  a little kindness to shake the rubble.
 
Let’s get to work and be together.
Stand in the grace that stands forever.
His glory’s too big for one to do it,
  but we can do it with His Spirit.

 Note: In John 17 Jesus talks to the Father about the church and the call to glorify them by their unity. When one thinks about it that makes sense because since God is so great, so is His glory. It would take a group of believers to glorify Him. It's too great a task for one person. Then the prayer mentions that we glorify Him by loving one another. It's the mark of who we are. So we can't love without having someone to love, like other believers.

It's one way of how we witness to the world about God's Son.
