THE EVERYDAY MUNDANE


As Christians, the everyday mundane things of life can sometimes drag us down. You may wonder how all this helps further the kingdom of God.

We need to remember about the man Moses and how long before God could use him.

The Bible says that the 1st 40 years Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians (Acts 7:22). He then willfully killed a man then escaped into the desert to a place called Midian where he spends another 40 years.

He gets married has a son and works as shepherd. In other words, he does all the every day mundane things of life (Exodus 2:11-21). It took 80 years before Moses was prepared to do the job God called him to do.

God had to take a man that was a murderer and bring him to a place where it was said now the man Moses was very meek above all the men which were upon he face of the earth. (Numbers 12:3).

The thing is every part of our lives is a training ground preparing us to do greater things in the Kingdom of God.

If you are not faithful to do the everyday,
mundane things of life. How can God trust you to do greater things (Luke 16:10).
