LORD, CAN WE TALK

Hello God, I called tonight
Just to talk a little while.
I need a friend who will listen
to my burdens and my trials.
You see I just can’t make it
through the day on my own
I need your love to guide me
so I wont feel so alone.
Give me faith dear Lord,
each hour through the day,
so I wont worry about things
I can’t change anyway.
Please bless my family Lord,
as they go from place to place.
Keep them from the evil one
and cover them with your grace.
Thank you Lord for answering
and for taking my call.
I know you understand me
and you wont let me fall.
Your number is the only one
that will answer every time.
I never get a busy signal
and never have to pay a dime.
So thank you Lord for listening
To my petition and my sorrow.
I love you Lord with all my heart
and I ‘ll call you again tomorrow!
