Sitting on my new sofa eating ice cream and thinking what shall I do for Christmas, where to shop for Christmas gifts, who I shall visit and whether to attend church on Christmas Eve or on Christmas day?
I still couldn’t figure out what I should do. The next thing I did is watch Christmas movies so I can get some ideas and bring Christmas atmosphere to my sweet home. Never cross my mind is that all the movies I watched are all about Santa! Making dreams come through, fulfillments, joy, happiness, well wishes. Even the adult believes in Santa writing in a piece of paper with a cup of milk not forgetting Oreo biscuits waiting for Santa to fulfill their wishes.
So I took a piece of paper and pencil start writing what I want for this year Christmas. The difference is I wrote to my Santa who is JESUS. John 14:6 ..... I am the Way and the Truth and the Life......
It is an awesome time writing a letter to Jesus. Trust me. I never thought I could do this. It was a nice feeling and contented. After I have complete writing, I seal the letter with my love and place it on my table.
To my surprises’ the whole night I start recalling bible scriptures like never before. I just couldn’t sleep at all...
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; ....
Isaiah 40:31 ....but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for you souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Psalms 103:5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.
The scriptures answered all my desires I want for Christmas, even before Christmas day. I just don’t know how to express and explain the joy, happiness and contented I am.
I know this year Christmas will be the most special moments of my life and I would like to share this to all, HOW GREAT THOU ART, HOW GREAT THOU ART our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
