Here it comes, another birthday.
  But not just anyone's.
This is the day we all should pray,
  and thank the risen Son.

I can't believe 2000 years,
  You don't look a day past 30.
You've wiped away so many tears,
  and cleansed away what's dirty.

You came and gave so very much,
  and yet You ask so little.
Saints from sinners-You make such.
  You gently hold the brittle.

There's someone here, listening in.
  Should we let them know?
You could save them from their sin,
  from such glory they could grow.

The time is right, since it's Your day.
  They could give You a gift.
They could give themselves to stay,
  that Youl would heal the rift.

So I turn and speak to you.
  Give the Lord yourself.
Let Him show He is true,
  your ever-present Help.

You could give the Lord His due.
  You could bless Him now.
He, in turn, will take you.
  Just let your pride down.
