You came to the earth
In human skin.
Taught many truths,
Spoke against sin.

This is what You,
You came to do:
By Your loving death,
Showed Your love true.

You have arisen,
Now back in Your skin.
You’ve gone away,
To come again.

Look at what
You sought to do:
Showed me Your love,
And I came to You.

Look at what
You made me do:
By Your loving death,
You made me love You.

My sweet, dear Jesus,
My Beginning and End.
E’er give me truth,
Come, please, to me, and send.

You send promised trials,
I know for my good.
To make me pleasing,
As I should.

Look at what
You made me do:
Entrusting my life,
Belonging to You.

Look at what
You made me do:
By Your loving death,
You made me love You.

B’coming more pleasing,
With each giv’n day.
I need but to trust
You, with each day.

You come to the earth,
In glorious skin.
You come back, now,
For Your children.

Look at what
You come to do:
Take me away,
Keep me with You.

Look at what
You made me do:
By Your loving death,
You made me love You.

Look at what
You made me do:
Entrusting my life,
B’longing to You.
