Babydoll,

We've been through many things over the past twenty years. We've seen presidents come and go, churches fall apart, families ravaged by divorce and the ensuing problems for the kids who are supposed to "bounce back", loved ones taken, new trends and technologies that seem to change every other day..(so much change)..but God has provided for us in every way imaginable. i'm convinced He'll continue to do so as He helps us navigate through the smoke and mirrors of our current cultural climate and i'm thankful. However, what i'm most grateful for outside of salvation and the cross of Christ is just having you by my side honey.

i'm grateful that you and i have been able to laugh together through it all..i'm grateful for your girlish ways and your beautiful smile, i just can't seem to stay mad around you for to long. i'm grateful for your daily sacrifices and your positive attitude..you're an excellent example for our daughter to follow and a great look ahead at what our boys will eventually find. We've both come so far as we've strived to honor God with this covenant that we made so long ago.

As i look around at the disintegration of the family and our society, i can't help but be humbled to be your husband..and father to our three kids. i promise that i'll be there for you until my dying breath..my very best friend.
