May the Lord heal you of your hurts of the past
And grant you the grace to go forward
Look forward, past the sorrow to see
The glories in store for you tomorrow

May your past disappointments be turned
Into appointments with the Most High God.
Who works all things together for the good
Of those who love Him with all their heart

Hope shall replace hopelessness and helplessness
As God gives you a helping hand to stand your ground
You will draw water from His cup of salvation
To usher a new era of fruitfulness from barrenness.

Your sighing shall be turned into singing
Your mourning shall be turned into dancing
Your valleys shall be exalted into a mountain of joy
And your desert shall ring with the praise of God.
