My Beloved
My beloved is sweet Sharon’s rose
He’s the lily of the field.
As the Apple tree among the wood,
Such sweet fruit He doth yield.
He took me to his banquet room,
And covered me with love.
His voice rings out among the hills,
Just like the singing dove.
My precious one is like the deer,
That stands behind our wall.
Looking through the lattice,
With His watchful eye on all.
My beloved spoke and said to me,
“Rise up, My fairest one~
For the winter time it now is past,
The rain it too is gone.”
“The Fig tree giveth forth her fruit~
The dove she sings so well.”
“The vines are filled with tender grapes,
Giving forth an enchanting smell.”
“Arise, My love and come away~
We’ll walk where angels trod.”
“Where is no night but endless day,
That beautiful city of God.”

Yes, this is beautiful. I agree with Joanne, it does sound like the Song of Solomon.
