Between the Light, 
  what is right, 
    and the chance to love you more. 
To be with Christ,
  Who is my life, 
    and love who I can't ignore.  
I am torn between the two,
  heaven my heart or earth my feet. 
The face of you, for I am new,
  or the Lord eternally sweet.

I am torn, so I'll be ripped. 
My life is bittersweet. 
If love were words, I'm not tight- lipped. 
In Christ I am complete.

Between the Day 
  and the night,
    I am struggling in this race. 
To retire 
  from the fight,
    and to stand before His face. 
Then there's you, 
  with your need,
    and my knowing I can give. 
While I know I could flee,
  I choose to stay and live. 

I'll be torn, completely asunder. 
My joy is bittersweet. 
If love is blood, I'll not wonder. 
Like Christ I'll joyf'lly bleed.
