Forward soldier, rally, rally!
Forward with the battle cry.
Reach the lost ones in the valley,
Ere the anquished echo die.
Downward soldier, clear the sabre;
Hold your mighty weapon high.
Down where others sweat and labor,
Down where greater comrades die.
Onward soldier, no retreating,
Souls are dying, dying, dying.
Onward though the time be fleeting,
Though the battle sore be trying.
Outward soldier, to the regions,
Where the trumpet call is muted;
Where the crying, dying legions
Vainly wait to be recruited.
upward soldier, battles ended,
Up to meet the crown you've won.
See the Captain's hand extended;
Hear His voice: "Well done! Well done!
